Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

How we approach the sale and sharing of personal information, and how to submit an opt-out request.

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

This page explains how K12PhoneSystems.com approaches the sale and sharing of personal information, and how you can submit an opt-out request.

This page should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Privacy Choices page.

To submit a request, contact:

privacy@k12phonesystems.com

1. Our Position

We do not sell personal information for money.

We do not knowingly sell personal information of minors.

We provide this page so that you have a clear method to submit an opt-out request and to understand how the terms "sell" and "share" may apply under privacy law.

2. What "Sell" and "Share" Mean Under Some Laws

Some privacy laws define "sell" and "share" broadly.

Under these laws, certain activities may be treated as a sale or sharing even when no money changes hands, including some uses of:

  • analytics tools
  • advertising tools
  • retargeting tools
  • cross-context behavioral advertising
  • certain third-party tracking technologies

If our use of these tools falls within those legal definitions, this page provides the notice and opt-out method required by applicable law.

3. How to Opt Out

You can submit an opt-out request in the following ways.

By Email

Contact us at:

privacy@k12phonesystems.com

Include a clear statement that you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, along with enough detail for us to locate any relevant records.

Through an Opt-Out Preference Signal

Some browsers and tools allow you to send opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control.

Where required by applicable law and where technically feasible, we will treat recognized opt-out preference signals as requests to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar processing covered by that law.

4. What Happens After You Opt Out

After we receive a valid opt-out request, we will take reasonable steps to honor it as required by applicable law.

An opt-out applies to the activities covered by the request and the applicable law. It does not stop processing that is necessary to operate the website, respond to your inquiries, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.

If you clear your cookies, use a different browser, or use a different device, you may need to submit your preference again.

5. Authorized Agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf where permitted by applicable law.

We may require proof that the agent is authorized to act for you and may require verification of your identity, where permitted by law.

6. No Discrimination

We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality solely because you exercised your privacy rights, except where permitted by applicable law.

7. Other Privacy Rights

You may have additional privacy rights, such as the right to access, correct, or delete personal information.

To learn more about these rights and how to exercise them, see our Privacy Choices page.
