1. Our position

K12PhoneSystems.com does not sell your personal information, does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not use it for targeted advertising.

The website has no advertising, no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels. It has no analytics tool, and it has no marketing list. Personal information we receive, such as the details you put in the contact form, is used to answer you and to keep reasonable records. It is not given to advertisers, data brokers or other companies for their own purposes. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Some privacy laws define these words broadly:

Sell can mean disclosing personal information to another business or third party in exchange for money or something else of value.
Share, under California law, means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, which is advertising based on your activity across different websites or services.
Targeted advertising, under several other state laws, means showing ads based on activity across unaffiliated sites.

Using a service provider to host the website, deliver fonts or send an email notification, under a contract that limits what the provider may do with the information, is not a sale or sharing as we understand these laws. The providers we use are listed in the Privacy Policy.

3. How to opt out anyway

There is nothing to switch off, but you are welcome to record a preference, and we will honor it if our practices ever change. You can do that in either of these ways.

Tell us your name and the email address or phone number you used to contact us, so that we can match the request to anything we hold. You do not need to explain why.

With an opt-out preference signal

If you use a browser or extension that sends Global Privacy Control, the website treats that signal as a valid request to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising for that browser. Because the website does none of those things, the signal does not change how it works.

4. What happens after you opt out

We will record your request and confirm that we have done so. Going forward, we will not sell or share your personal information, or use it for targeted advertising, even if the website's practices change. We will not ask you to opt out again for at least 12 months. You can withdraw an opt-out at any time by telling us.

An opt-out does not affect information we need to answer a question you have sent us, to keep records the law requires, or to protect the website. It does not delete your information. To ask for deletion, use the Privacy Choices page.

5. Authorized agents

You may ask another person or organization to submit an opt-out for you. We will ask for written proof of their authority and may check with you directly. Our Privacy Choices page explains the process.

6. No discrimination

We will not deny you information, give you a different quality of information, or treat you differently because you exercised this right.

7. Your other privacy rights
